Could your students use some extra practice multiplying decimals? This escape room is the perfect way to inject some FUN into your math practice! Students will love working together to ‘decode’ each puzzle as they multiply decimals to the tenths place.

This is perfect for 5th grade as an end of unit review, end of the year review or as extra practice for 6th graders who may need a refresher of decimal operations.

How to Use the Escape Room:

Don’t let the word ‘escape room’ overwhelm you! This challenge does NOT require a lot of prep from you!

There are four printable challenges for students to decode when they solve the related multiplication problems.

Students keep track of their solutions on the recording sheet to try and unlock the correct ‘final code.’

Simply print the decimal multiplication task cards and the decoder card for each station (total of four levels/stations).

Then give each student a recording sheet and you’re all set!

Students can complete the stations in any order. Each set of task cards focuses on multiplying a decimal to the tenths place by a decimal to the tenths place.
