Are you looking for an engaging and meaningful math task that will challenge your kids to deepen their understanding of addition and subtraction with large numbers? These missing number puzzles are a great challenge!
Each puzzle includes an addition or subtraction equation with 3-4 digit numbers or add a set of 3 2-digit numbers, but some of the digits are missing. So rather than merely having kids add or subtract 2 numbers, they have to actually think about how to add or subtract and what digits will give them the answer they’re looking for.
These are great for kids in 4th or 5th grade who need a fun and engaging review of addition and subtraction, but would also be a fun challenge for 3rd graders who are just building their understanding of addition and subtraction.
