Could your students use a little extra practice with subtracting decimals? This fun, interactive set of decimal subtraction crack the code puzzles will provide a fun and different way to practice their skills.

Help your students in 6th grade practice subtraction with multi-digit decimals using this interactive set for google slides.

How the Activity Works:

This is a digital activity created for google slides that you can assign in google classroom.

To begin, students must view the slides in edit mode, so they can type onto each slide.

The first step is for students to use the code to determine what the problem is asking. They type the problem into the top box on the slide.

Then they solve the given subtraction problem and type their final answer into the second box on the slide.

There are 20 decimal subtraction problems altogether.

Assign all 20 slides at once, or work through a few at a time to weave in review. You could also project the slide at the front of the class to use as an engaging daily warm-up.
