Compare Fractions & Reason with Fraction Multiplication – Grade 5 – DIGITAL

Description

Do your kids struggle with making sense of fractions & fraction operations? What happens when you multiply by a fraction? Make practice FUN with these interactive google slides!

Using drag and drop, your 5th grade students will practice comparing fractions as they reason about fraction multiplication.

Then they fill in the blanks in the statement to explain their reasoning. For example, they determine the comparison by thinking about multiplying by a fraction less than one, equal to one or more than one.

There are 20 slides altogether, with a comparison statement and reasoning statement to complete by dragging and dropping the pieces.

Use these challenges in a variety of ways:
